In a tier one operator, and as anther of the general directorates within the IT sector, Revenue Assurance Department (RAD) is vested with the responsibility of planning and managing the development and expansion of this operator Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management capabilities and to make sure that the processes and procedures are in place for a successful, efficient and flexible operation.
Revenue Assurance Department (RAD) identifies and accurately measure revenue leakage in their network utilizing fraud management system and revenue assurance system. As such, maintaining RA and FM systems and continuously enhancing them and updating them were one of the RA Department vested responsibilities.
The operational project intends to improve, update, enhance and maintain RA & FM systems. An instance of which RA & FM systems can be improved and maintained is by measuring the systems’ (FMS and RAS) operational performance and optimizing software.
And to improve its revenue assurance (RA) and fraud Management (FM) practices and processes in order to ensure that all revenues and profit are optimized for the business and that maximum value is delivered to its shareholders. The tier one operator was keen to ensure that all of its RA activities and processes are managed in a centralized fashion to ensure a complete end-to-end perspective across the organization.
In order to get the required systems upgrade in order to fulfill their requirements, this operator signed a contract with BMC as a partner of one of the biggest vendors in the market in this area, and as they have BMC was able to provide the resources to manage the project, provide the required consulting service, supervise and involved in the implementation of the RA and FMS project.
BMC provided a resident project manager, 2 senior consultants and field engineer, in addition to the implementation engineer from the vendor side, in order to work together to eliminate the obstacles and fulfill the milestones for the project plan, in order to achieve the company policy and operator requirements. |
